Confirmed Travel Dates for Trip!

Got a letter today from DL Blair via Fedex. Me and my guest depart Feb 18, 2010 and return Feb 21, 2010. Can't wait. They said I will get a call on or about December 30, 2009 to confirm our addresses again, and should get our goodies and tickets on Feb 8, 2010.

Sending back the Pre-Trip Documents

Just an FYI to anyone who may have won this trip and looking for information.  I sent back my pre-trip documents via Fedex per instructions on Oct. 12.  A few days later, I got a call from DL Blair and they needed me to resend the guest documents.  The guest I am taking is in another city, so I scanned and emailed the docs to him, he printed them out, and faxed to me, and I sent them in with mine.  Well, DL Blair wanted the ORIGINAL signature versions of the guest documents.  I explained he was in another city, and easy enough, they allowed my guest to send them directly to DL Blair using their Fedex account number.  So my guest's pre-trip documents were sent on Oct. 21.  So we wait for the next set of stuff from them for this awesome trip.

Marlboro Trip – Received Pre Trip Documents

Received the pre-trip documents from Fedex yesterday, Friday.  A bunch of releases, id verifications, and information gathering.  The nice thing I noticed is that the forms allow for Marlboro to send direct to myself and to my guest, since he is in another city.  The letter says that once they receive these documents, I should wait approx. 4 weeks for the next package of information.  It also said I will receive a 1099 in Jan 2011 since the value of this trip is approx $4800.

My Free Trip to Marlboro Ranch in Montana

It's amazing.  I have never won anything really in my life before, but last Friday October 2, 2009, I received an email from Marlboro.  It said I won a 4 day, 3 night trip to the Marlboro Ranch in Montana.  I called the number, and sure enough its legit.  So I will posting a series of blogs as events unfold and things happen in the trip.  They said me and a guest will get free airfare, room, board, activities, and $1,250 in cash.  I have learned from a couple other blog posts that they will give me and a guest Marlboro jackets, hats, boots, and plenty of other things.

The first thing that they said I should expect is the official documents and stuff by courier in about 3 weeks and I will post once I get it.
